ok, so I had my second date today, and I'll tell you all about it...in a second!! But, FIRST, you must endure my diet-stuff!!!

I gained a tad more this morning, (another .6), and this is a second day in a row of no losses, but gains!! Hey, Kim, can I officlally start WORRYING & ANALYZING now?! Lol!

Seriously, though, I'm a little unsure if I'm doing the right thing so far...I thought yesterday was great points and carbs-wise, AND I put in a good workout late at night! So I'd have really expected to see a loss!! Methinks I JINXED it!! Didn't I just write two days ago about how guilty I feel about getting 3-4 days of cosnistent losses when there are others out there more deserving?! Well, next time just tell me to take the losses and SHUT UP!! LOL!

Today I got a good workout with 30 mins of elliptical, but using my wrist weights (1.5 each wrist), and upping the intensity, I was able to burn 364k (3.52 miles, 9-12 level). And put in 3 sets of bicep curls, shoulder raises and lateral raises..

In meals-area, I've gone a little over points, but have still tried to exercise control. I working HARD to notice and count every measly carb and point!!! This is work!! But I'm also learning about hidden carbs in unsuspicious things (like sundried tomatoes!! who woulda thunk? Aren't they veggies anyway??!)

Here's the breakdown:
preworkout: almonds (2 pts, 1 carb)
postworkout: protein mix with soy milk (2 pts, 4 carbs)
Brunch: Egg white omelette with sundried tomatoes, scallions, almonds, basil, cream cheese and goat cheese (6 pts; 3 carbs + 5 more for the 5 slices of sundried tom.)
snack: atkins bar (3 pts; 2 carbs)
almonds (2 pts; 1 carb)
late afternoon: 2nd atkins bar (3 pts, 2 carbs)
Dinner: none; opted only for a glass of wine (2 pts; 1 carb)---and showed SUPREME RESISTANCE in avoiding appetizers, dark chocolate etc.!
Later: (munchies struck due to wine..) so have had 3rd atkins bar (3 pts; 2 carbs), and 1 strin cheese (2 pts, 0 carb)

Total: 25 pts; ONLY 19 carbs!!! HALLELUAH!!!

P.S: Mr. C has paid a visit today!! I do, do, hope this is not cause of restricting carbs!! Every time in the past I've tried to lower carbs, I get this problem, causing me worry and to abandon the plan..! Also, I've felt pretty bloated after my omelette, and have been drinking lots of water (over 3 L), and yet, feel the bloat all over, esp. my face!!

Anyhow, now to the good stuff! My date!

Yea..we were supposed to go hiking this weekend, but we've had the lousiest of weather, so he proposed an independent movie instead..and that's what we ended up seeing ("Tell no one" : A French whodunit..)...It was very interesting, and left us lots to talk about after...We went for drinks, and talked a lot...he is VERY easy to talk to, and a good listener, and intelligent, articulate, personable, very complimentary, and just great company! Not to mention, pretty easy on the eyes:) He seems to like being around me as well...apparently, "my perfume kept him enticed all through the movie and he forgot some stuff in the movie because of that"! yeah..um..right! whatever! LOL!

Well, this sounds promising. For a change, I actually like a guy, instead of finding ways to blow him off!! Well, he better like me back!!!! Or else!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute, very flattering outfit! Sounds like the second date was very nice too! Oh, and I like the little harp player on the shelf in the background. I used to know a guy that did that kind of art...

Whoa! I had to go back and re-read a sentence! Instead of "He proposed an independent movie" I read "He proposed an indecent movie"! Whew! You look fantastic, as always, and the outfit is nice, too! Hey, how about you start weighing once a week and stop sweating the daily fluctuations? Huh? Huh?

In answer to your question, I suppose! Just don't want you to get too caught up with that brain of yours. So glad you had a good time with your date and want a compliment about the way you smelled, lol! Your outfit looks great and you look great in it! As far as MR.C is concerned, take a/some fiber supplements!

Cute outfit, and I love your new profile photo too 08! Sounds like the guy is interested....otherwise, he would have found a reason to not go to drinks...or to tell you he was distracted by you during the movie! =) Yaaaay! I'm happy to hear you found someone you are intested in getting to know better. Can't wait to hear more as it advances! You DESERVE happiness! I hope he calls or contacts you soon! =) =)

You look fabulous! I like that style top on you. This guys sounds great! Hey are you off today? We have to start planning... Hmmm...looking at what you ate...no wonder you have Mr. C! how much fiber do those atkins bars have? I can just imagine the bar stuck in your intestinal cavity sticking onto other things trying to pass by. Up the ante on veggies and you'll be feeling much better. Try to eat more things that grow vs/ things you can eat from a box/wrapper. You're body will thank you. Great job on the exercise & the weights! Very impressive.

Aw, you're looking fabulous Amee and glad to hear that you had such a fantastic evening. ;o) Don't worry about those little gains if you're suffering Mr. C... as undoubtedly he's the culprit! But I agree with Julie about eating your veggies... most are low carbs and your body does need that fibre. Just checked out one site and it recommended 18g of fibre per day for adults to keep Mr. C at bay and everything healthy! So you may want to check out how much you're eating and up as necessary. You keep up the great work though and look forward to the next installment!! ;o)
