POWENCH's Journal, 10 September 2008

Well I had to miss Yoga tonight as my allergies are making me crazy. I think if I put my head down it would explode! I just could not face trying to concentrate on the poses and my head pounding at the same time.

I have been a Yoga hater for a long time. I thought it was an activity that was all about the skinny people. But I have to admit that it has helped my back and my knees. I do not stretch enough in my other activities and that is why I decided to buckle down and sign up for the class. So now I have to say that I still don't love Yoga, but it has helped me to feel better.

Food went well today I think. Lots of fiber... maybe a bit too many carbs, but lower fat.

I have to go to the city to visit a friend who's parent is ill. She is a big time chef and wants to cook for me, hopefully my diet will survive the meal :>).

I have had a love-hate relationship with yoga for awhile. But I always feel so much better after, and I notice that I can bend, twist and reach much more easily when I practice regularly. And, it is wonderful for the knees and back.

I have been interested in yoga for a LONG time. I have bene doing it for about 1.5 years now and I simply love it. I guess it must not be for everyone, but I enjoy it.
