Kit14's Journal, 25 October 2007

Well, I was planning on the South beach Diet, then my doctor told me I have PCOS. After research I found that the GI diet is recommended. So, this week I am easing into it. I am still eating the old main staples of my diet, pasta and PB and J, but I'm changing the bread and ingredients I use.
Once I have some extra money next month, I have a whole list of nutritious foods on the GI diet to buy and I will be able to break from my old meal plan. What little I have done so far, like changing the bread I use, has made a major difference in my hunger. I actually went 3 hours at college without a snack and never felt dizzy or faint. I can't wait to see how my symptoms can improve with further diet change!

look for the sales, meijers usually have the salads by i one get one free or about 1.99 -2.99 , the bread stores are cheap for bread. i was told i could have alittle bit of pasta, as long as you dont over do it, well good luck.
