It is early morning and once again I am up and feeling like I am starving and need a slice of bread with a big amount of butter and then another big layer of peanut butter. So I am tying to control those feeling and I am drinking a cold glass of water. Really I want to eat several slices of toast. I need to find health alternatives to eat in the early morning.

Something that helps is for me to write so this is helping to get the hunger out of my head and on to the page.

Good for you fighting off the habit monster. How about a banana first thing in the morning? Or a cup of cottage cheese and a sliced apple? Just wanted to give you some encouragement this morning. Hope the day and battle get easier. :)

I have always LOVED breakfast and that was a hard thing for me to let go of when I decided to loose weight, a "healthy" breakfast is just not as satisfying as an omelet or PB toast. I have found the BelVita cookies are a great alternative for me. They are full of protein and super healthy. One pack of cookies, a banana and a bunch of water keeps me full till lunch time. That is even with walking a few miles in the morning :) It might be worth a try.
