I heard on the today show too and decided to give it a try I just started Atkins on Sunday..lost alot of water since then my ankles where so swollen from flying from Fort Lauderdale to Harrisburg Pa. so I think it was all the junk food..I've done this diet a few times and each time was different..but One time I didn't go into ketosis for over a week I think it was from the creamer in my coffee and I really felt tired. but one time it snowed and I was shoveling the sidewalk all morning and the keto strip was almost black from burning calories...your not preganant I hope! ha ha (not) that always happened to me when I lost weight. just kidding. Maybe something has carbs in it..? try doing some heavy duty exercise or clean house really hard(i.e. scrub floors and tubs and sidewalks ect ect) or just go out for a nice walk in the woods away from food..I love to do non-food related stuff...it seems like when your a mom everything is food related or you have to think about making meals and going to the store to get food.....keep trying it should start soon....

Well, don't give up. Read the Atkins book again. There are certain chapters devoted to "what to do if you're not losing weight". Make sure you go to the doctor and get blood tests done. There could be a chance that there are some hidden carbs in something you are eating. Go through everything in your kitchen and read the labels. Also make sure you are not eating more than 3-4 oz of cheese as this sometimes stalls weight loss. Try not to have too many processed meats. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and getting enough fiber.
