Yippee! I made it through the first day showing great restraint. Now for my 2nd day. I am off to a good start, but I require more coffee. I am bored today, nothing is on except the impeachment hearings which are boring. They ask redundant questions and get redundant answers. Then the news media repeats everything over and over in case you missed anything.
I have to stay close to home today because a well man is coming to adjust the pressure on our community well and I don't know exactly when he is coming and I need to open the well house for him.
I would love to go to Silver Dollar City tonight to see the beautiful lights, but rain is in the forecast scheduled to start as soon as it gets dark. I hate it when the weatherman is right all the time.

Yes, Branson! We live about 45 minutes away in the Shell Knob Area. The lights are spectacular this time of year, they go all out with the decorating.

Hey, Diehard3! I grew up in Springfield, just N of you. Can't tell you how many weekends we were in Branson when the kids were growing up...too many, that's for sure. Anyway, I still have family there. My husband and I live over in Kansas...just west of Joplin. So: Hi neighbor!

I can’t stand to watch TV for very long. Too much really boring things on TV even if you exclude the political elements. I have way too many hobbies.
