Kenna Morton's Journal, 17 September 2019

This morning my FS program was essentially gone. All disordered, basically just the bones of the program. Finally reinstalled from App Store. Nothing like the old program— who knows? I’ll figure it out. But, there is no cookbook. All those repetitive meals; soups casserole, desserts that I had painstakingly entered are gone. And the food choices to log are slim at best. So there seemingly is no other option but to start entering from scratch. Not sure I’m going to do that. I paid for 1 month of an upgrade that has a water tracker, but nothing else encouraging. I’ll keep you all posted as I PLAY WITH IT AND SEE WHAT OPTIONS ARE HERE.

Wow! Didn't know that could happen! I use FS on my lap top and don't know what I would do without my saved favorite meals and recipes!

This is Thursday. I was able to contact FS by email and explained what the issue was. I asked if there was some type of tutorial available for how to create recipes, etc. their basic response was —- so sorry for your difficulty and make sure you logged in correctly. No answer or response to any of my specific questions. I am probably just going to have to log breakfast and lunch here on FS and recreate dinner recipes and just do a handwritten log for the more complicated meals with multiple ingredients. There are also fewer foods in general listed. At. Least that will eliminate some of the many erroneous entries that exist. My gut instinct is that this is some kind of beta program— a work in progress and maybe incomplete. I also cannot post any pictures of any kind, at least not that I have found. The buttons are there, but not live. Lots of clutches. I may end up just deleting this whole thing and going back to paper and pencil. I did it that way for years, not that hard and much easier in some ways. I’ll try to keep everyone posted as I find new things
