My first chaffle! Hubby and I loved it and will make these again. He even asked if we could incorporate these more into meals instead of rice or potato. @Bella ~ so sorry your experience was unsatisfactory! Recipes for this chaffle: 2 eggs, 1c freshly shredded mozz cheese, Mrs. Dash's garlic & herbs for seasoning. Half the chaffle was a serving for each of us to it was 242 cals, 1.6 carbs Tonight we served it with baked salmon & Brussel Sprouts

Cool! I'm glad it worked for you! So it didn't bubble over? Maybe it's a different cheese? (cheddar vs mozz?) You saw the one I did w/o the cheese worked for me - and like you, it's going to be something I'll do more often.

Do these have to be made in a waffle iron? They look so good

@Bella, It didn't bubble over. My waffle iron isn't mini though. Its probably 8" I'm guessing. So, that's why I split it in half (for me & hubby). The 1 egg and 1 cup cheese was the perfect fit. Like you, I want to omit the cheese at times especially since it looks like your's didn't even need it!!

@tatauu, I'm sure its not necessary but if you want a "waffle" then, yeah. I've seen variations of the same recipe used for pizza crust (just poured into a skillet to crisp up)

You know something - I never thought about a pizza crust out of this. Perfect!! Thank you!! It certainly has the consistency. Wow. My mind is racing and I'm drooling a bit!
