CONFUSED!!!! I really don't get it. They switched my plan 2 weeks ago (from red to purple), and since then I haven't lost a pound, matter of fact i gainned 2 ounces when i weighed in yesterday. I told my counselor that i was unhappy with that plan since i'm not losing anymore. And she said it's because i'm working out too much...What the heck is that !!!! It is true that the last 2 weeks i increased my workouts but it doesn't explain it. Then she said since that i'm eating less food my body doesn't have enough to burn. And she recommends that i workout less this week and if i don't do so they'll put me back on the old plan. I should be happy, right because I got 2 options. Wrong!!! Right after she stated that the purple plan will make me lose more. So what I'm going to do this week is decrease my workouts and see how it goes. Still that's just weird.
223.2 lb Lost so far: 18.8 lb.    Still to go: 43.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I was switched to plan 2 as well, but I was on the gold before. I still think it seems like more food (especially starch) and likely to cause weight gain, but after two weeks, I think it is kicking in. Try it out for another week before you switch.

I really don't think they know what they are doing half the time. There is so much turnover at the centers, and the counselors change every few months. I had one counselor tell me once that the scale kept moving between decimal points because I was retaining water.....pure ignorance if you ask me. I am living on my plateau for now and getting ready to travel next week. Won't worry about it till after I get back....

Boy do I know how you feel right now. I have been working out for at least three hours a week and they moved me to blue, I was on gold as well. I was losing and gaining the same 5 lbs for at least four months. I know this doesn't make any sense but you have to increase your food to lose weight if you are working out more than three hours a week. Were you working out this hard when you were on red? They are moving me to red if I don't lose on this blue plan. What can you have with the red plan?

So balonzo u work out only 3 hours a week and they switched your plan!!!! Well my counselor told me that if it's more than 5 hours a week they have to change your plan. Anyway I started really working out this summer while i was following the red plan and i dropped 25lbs. Now since i'm on purple plan i have to do less, and I already started it today. Just hoping that it works, that's all i want. Oh yeah almost forgot. On the red plan you can have 2 1/2 proteins, 3 fruits, 3 starches, 4 veggies, 1 dairy, 1 fat and 2 lites.

Ok, so all they add to the red is another veggie (yuck), other than that it is the same as the blue plan.(unless your portions are different, I can have 6 oz chicken and 4 oz red meat) My counselor told me they were going to switch me for working out for three hours or more and see if I lose on this plan. Do you work out for five hours a week? I wish I had the time to do that, but I work full time and have three kids in sports and girl scouts. I usually try for 30 minutes a day at the least. I wish I would drop 25 lbs and I would be really small, (ok at least in my head, 150 lbs)

Yes i used to work out five hours a week but not anymore because i did 30mns today instead of an hour. I also work full time that's why i do it early in the morning. I guess the fact that i don't have kids ( i mean not yet, since i'm only 23) makes it easier for me. Anyway you just have to balance your schedule, just fit it right in. That's how everyone started, once you get used to do 30mns, you'll find yourself doing more. And don't think that 30mns it's nothing, some people burn 300 or more calories just by working out for 30mns.

Thank you so much for all of your advice. I am 34 and I feel like I am at a stand still after losing 56 lbs so far. I hope you don't mind me asking all of these questions, but what do you do for 30 minutes? Today I did sit ups on the ball, then I did squats, lunges, and used the bands that you can stretch with. I love using those bands that you hook to your feet and stretch your legs out. I wish I could explain those better. Then on Saturday I jogged and fast walked for 35 minutes
