Happy Monday - what an amazing day. Busy weekend of moving and stacking fire wood for the winter...we got a great deal but it was 4+ cords. Lots of work but grateful that task is done. Had a fun motorcycle ride to lunch on Sunday and got a full night sleep. The interesting part of Sunday lunch is that we went to a place we go often and the staff recognize us and we were really enjoying ourselves. They brought out a plate of fresh, hot , beautiful Beignets covered in powdered sugar - because they had been a misorder at another table. it was very thoughtful but I had to decline...My wife and I joked about what my blood sugar would look like after one of those...it would an unhappy emoji face for sure. I have labs on Friday and hopefully it will bear out some consistent progress and a status update on the ole pancreas (haven't forgotten that guy). We did make a stellar dinner with chicken, tomatoes and onions and chili powder. It was really tasty and under 400 calories. I hope that you all have an amazing day and enjoy your adventure.

You just never know with the blood sugar. I thought for sure mine would go into 300+ the time I had baked Alaska. It only went to 130.

FullaBella - I hear you... I have a pancreas that has a different agenda and is usually on his OFP...so it ends up being Russian roulette with my insulin production...and I am working to just take the bare minimum needed.

Yep. That day I had the massive box of chocolate whoppers was a different story ... regretted doing that to my body.
