Looking at my diet calender i've noticed, that except on cheat days,i eat fewer calories than recommended (1900). I worried this will or has slowed down my metabolism. ( i drink green tea twice a day to boost my metabolism, i doubt its working)

Before this diet, i used to be hungry all the time..now weirdly i am not all that hungry until i feel gas-y in my tummy ( too much info i know :P). I wanna consume more calories without increasing my crabs (max 30-40 g) and low fat.

I'm not sure, how do i increase the frequency of eating. How many calories should consume in one sitting..

Appreciate your suggestions & expertise!

Cheers & Good Health

Is the 1900 calories your RDI? Those are basically guidelines and you have to adjust them as you go. If you find your not losing on that, then lower it 100 calories. Eating less than 1900 calories won't slow you metabolism unless you go super low. Make sure your getting enough protein. Your body can only digest a certain amount at a time, so you don't want to eat huge meals. Play around with calories and see what works for you. You might do 400 breakfast, 500 lunch and dinner. Then you have some left for snacks. But it really depends on you and your schedule and body.

Ya, a high protein diet will leave you feeling fuller. In between meals you can add something like almonds to satiate any hunger and keep the body working to in turn keep your metabolism up. I also supplement with low carb/sugar protein shakes as well whcih help bump up my protein. I shoot for 1g per lb of body weight typically. Worked great for my bod!
