There are a lot of people who aren't negative, probably the majority are very supportive. I do hope you stay. :)

I hope i stay i have been on this site since 2008 i have seen these people come and i am pretty sure i will see them leave also i just feel so much anger towards them. it seems like everyday i come on there and one of them is being mean and horrible to the same person over and over again its like grow the fuck up allready

Thank you for your kind words, Selina. I am sorry that this happens here too. It takes away from all the good stuff. I've been constantly amazed at how personally people take their diet plans. And also constantly amazed at how people are unable to separate questioning a PLAN from insulting a person. I think they FEEL insulted so they assume I am the one insulting. Really, that feeling comes from inside. If someone said "calorie counting is not a good way to lose weight. Atkins is much better or WW or HCG or whatever" I would not feel insulted at all. Nobody called me stupid. It's just different strokes for different folks. I really don't know why anyone has such an issue with me giving advice based on my own experience. And quite frankly I don't care. As I said the other day, for every one person who hates me, there are hundreds who have written to me to thank me. Every time one of these people makes me want to leave this site, I think about what a disservice that would be to the people who could use a little sensible advice. It doesn't hurt my feelings and it isn't worth your time either. But thank you for defending me. I really do appreciate it.

It really is getting ridiculous. If you leave the site, though, they are getting what they want! Their sole purpose is to stir up drama, because some people look at the bickering as entertainment. Don't take it personally (I'm saying this from experience, because I have almost deleted my profile on here as well). These people obviously have nothing better to do with their time.
