I say that if you can eat the pancakes that would be all that you could eat. I have no idea what is in the other plate! Actually it could be eggs, not sure how filling that is I can't eat them.

At least that's how I'd do it to enjoy some of each but that's a lot of dense food and I couldn't comfortably eat all of it.

I ate 2/3 of the pancakes and half the omelette 😁. I don’t care for pancakes but the fruit on these made it almost like a dessert. Kids got most of the whipped cream, hubby got the rest of the pancakes and I managed to box up half the omelette before my middle snitched it all lol.

The other plate is a 3 egg country omelette. Filled with ham, cheese, onions and hash browns. I ended up sharing some hash browns out of it because it’s not my favorite but it cost more to get just ham and cheese. I hate spending more for less so... the middle got to snitch a lot of the hash browns lol.

@rosio, I’m the same. Food is my weakness! Have a lot of them but food is one I replay don’t want to change lol. I love food. If I’m honest, I plan to build muscle 1) for bone health 2) because I want to show that I can 3) so I can eat more and 4) to look good. Some days eating more goes to #1 lol.

Oh and The middle also stole a lot of the loose cheese and I didn’t eat any sour cream. The entry on FS has the meal 100 kcal higher than what it really is and with me only eating parts of the meal I know my log isn’t accurate. I’d say I saved at least 150 kcal because of the sour cream, the 50 kcal per half difference and what the kid stole. (It’s a game that she sneaks it when she thinks I’m not looking)

Pancakes look yummy & I don't even like pancakes. I like just ham, eggs, onion, & cheese too. If there had to be potato on the plate, I'd rather have small baked potato with cheese & bacon.

@DM. I don’t like pancakes either lol. The family is doing their best to get me to like them. It was pancake night so I had to order pancakes to please them. Turns out pancakes covered in fruit isn’t that bad lol. They had a mashed strawberry sauce dripping over the edges a bit. I’m sure that wasn’t the healthiest but it had to be better than their strawberry syrup sitting on the table. Hash browns are okay if cooked right. These were too hard. I like mine browned on all sides with no hard and very little starchy middle. Easier and better to have a baked potato as you said. The offered a potato hash but declined that. Stole one tiny potato from hubby to try and it was good. By tiny I mean the size of a short finger nail so I didn’t log that little thing lol.

Thanks @becca! I’d have gladly passed you my sour cream. Never did develop a taste for it. Plus to me it doesn’t belong in breakfast foods. I do use the light version in some casseroles but I can’t taste it. I’d rather save the calories and spend them on cheese 😁. Hmmm now I want cheese.

I love dairy, but have really cut back. I am more of a french toast kind of gal, but pancakes are good too. 😋

You were! And yes it does lol. As she was snitching toward the end I pretended to stab at her hands with my fork and miss. Fun game for the kids but adults were giving me the ‘omg you beat your kids’ look lol. Never came within 6” of her hand or any other surface 😉. If I don’t have the rest for lunch I have a feeling it’ll be in her belly at snack time!
