Stretch Goals:
Okay I am trying to lose 10% by April the first... On top of this I have decided that at the end of March/Beginning of April I will be trying to climb to the Galleries at St Pauls Cathedral...
257 stairs to the famous Whispering Gallery. The bottom of the Internal Dome. 30 Metres up (100ft)
376 stairs to the Stone Gallery. The bottom of the external dome. 53 Metres up (175ft)
528 stairs to the Golden Gallery. The highest gallery, partway up the spire... 85 Metres (280ft)
So to prepare for this I am adding some stair runs to my exercise regime (on top of my usual stairs at work).
9 flights (counting up only) - 126 stairs (with a 15 minute break between the first 5 and the next 4)
I have about 3 months to get that to 250 without breaks. Then I might be ready for doing the galleries at St Paul's.
