I'm EXCITED!!! My hubby and I both turn 50 this year! And when we asked each other what we wanted to do for our birthdays... our answers were very different.

Mine - I already told you... the new wardrobe, makeover, and convertible. All things I want to be tied to my goals here... and I want to reach!

His - was a week long trip to the Caribbean at an all-inclusive to take a much needed break. Our last couple of vacations (annual) have been at a campground, or motel-6 type location...due to finances!

Well, got home from Curves this morning... and honey found us a great deal on a week in the Dominican Republic... WHOOOO HOOO!

Must say... Beach, Ocean, Husband... 3 of my favorite things!

BIG SMILE!!! (so come the end of April...we will be taking a vacation!)

This happens - btw - to also be our 24th wedding anniversary. We had to get married on his birthday...'cause he stinks w/ remembering dates... and wanted to always be able to remember exactly when our anniversary really was! LOL!!!

OH BOY! I'M EXCITED! CAN YOU TELL???

Got some real motivation now!

The vacation sounds fantastic. PLUS, not only can you celebrate your anniversary and his birthday, but you can also take advantage of you being in your 40's while he's already 50! (At least for a couple months - LOL!)

Erika - he's never missed an anniversary :) (that would be bad, huh?) Thanks everybody!!! Now, just need to keep the momentum going!!! Whoo Hoo! Saw an article online today about how "one piece bathsuits" are the newest trend! HA! I'm back in fashion!!!

that is terrific!my hubby and i got married on his birthday for the same reason.but somehow his birthday and our youngest childs birthday seem to get more attention than my anniversary.
