What’s up with litter? How many calories do I burn picking up the garbage you throw out of your car windows…

Depends on how much trash you pick up, I guess. It's something to research. I give you props for doing that. We're implementing a big green/sustainability program at my work place so I now find myself getting all bent out of shape by folks who do that. We have a road nearby that people do it all the time. It's right by a river and it's dangerous to walk down and pick up trash. Very irritating. Maybe I can plan something for an early Sunday morning when the traffic isn't bad. You're right, it's good exercise. Especially when you're dodging cars.
