Good morning, Friends!
In Denmark, Christmas is (officially) over, but the holiday break isn't! We have a few normal "bank days", and we're starting to mentally prepare for New Year.
I haven't weighed in for a few days. I forgot a day or two, simply because I'm chit-chatting with Wife as we're getting up and getting ready - and I am probably also a little scared of the number I'm gonna see.
When I think about it, I don't think I've done HORRIBLY bad. But I know I haven't done very well either. However, through this break I'm pretty okay with not knowing the exact number, and I'm doing the best I feel I can with all the festivities, and the good food and guests around us.
Today, Wife and I are going to Copenhagen. This means LOTS of walking, and I'm looking forward to going. I've been couped up in the apartment for days and I'm starting to go stir crazy.
Yesterday was SO hard. I tried hard to NOT get into snacks out of sheer boredom, and I succeeded. That made me damn proud. It's definitely not that I didn't want snacks. We have so much of all that junk in the house, and I just let it sit there.
Wife had quite an eye opener this morning. She got on the scale. I had already gotten dressed, had water and coffee, so I didn't want to get on it, seeing a huge number, but she did. She gained 4 kilos this holiday. She is now a little more keen on doing good. lol. I know that feeling.
Anyways, just checking in. We're enjoying the break, but I gotta say I am looking forward to going back to my good habits, eating better and going to work. It's so much easier that way. Boredom sucks.
Today, I'm thankful for: - Going out! - Getting up early, and having a very reasonable breakfast! - Copenhagen shopping! - A day with Wife!
