Good morning, guys!

Yesterday, I hinted that my fatpercentage went down along with my weight, and that this hinted further weight loss coming.

I use this as an indicator, when I have a larger gain or loss. Obviously, the fat percentage overall goes down when we lose weight, not not so much on a day to day basis. So, when we suddenly change weight A LOT - like a pound or two - the fat percentage is gonna change quite some. If I gain a lot, water weight, large meat, etc, then the fat percentage will go down, as the fat to body ratio is now lower, and the other way around. I hope this makes sense. :)

Anyways, I was right. The drop in weight along with a larger drop in fat percentage predicted a FULL KILO weight loss today. I am now 90.3. This is 4.2 kilos lighter than last Friday, after Thanksgiving. Wow. It's crazy what results I see once I go do this right. It amazes me every time.

The trick is of course now to keep surving that very satisfactory wave - use it as motivation and just keep truckin'.

The hardest 4 weeks at work have started. All our business partners are working hard to recognize how much they appreciate the business we generate for them, and they typically do this with GINORMOUS gift baskets of candy and cookes! Damn them! lol.

I have my head in the right place though, and I'm not touching. So far, I have not had a single piece, and I'm pretty proud of that, because there are some very nice things in there. I try not to stare too hard, as I don't want to temp myself.

I with I felt confident enough to simply go have ONE piece, but I know what it can lead to - and with the results I'm getting now, it's definitely not worth it.

Yesterday, I was craving chocolate so bad. I think it was the gift baskets mocking me. I was out in our shopping street every time, and it was oh so tempting to stop by a store and get some. I resisted, though, thinking that I didn't want to waste my calories on it, that I didn't want to start the slippery slide ride, and I'm glad I resisted.

When I was done at work, Wife and I went shopping. We were gonna cook Hungarian Goulash, but we realized that it'd be way too late to cook it, as it takes hours to make right.

Instead, we ended up at the local cafeteria at the supermarket. We had dish of the day, which was roast pork, with potatoes, red cabbage and gravy. I registered everything, and ended up going 16 calories over RDI. I can live with that. I have most likely cheated myself out of 16 calories somewhere else at some point. lol.

Today is our "long" day at work. I know. It's only 9 hours, and nothing compared to what some of you lot works. It's gonna be fairly busy though. No interviews but a LOT of meetings. I think 5. Damn. It's just one of those days where I'm gonna feel that I could be so much more productive if I was sitting in my office, and not in a meeting room.

Two of the meetings are repeats of what I have already been in, teatching the staff to send letters digitally. It's a new mail system slowly being implemented in Denmark - basically data secure email for everyone in the country. It'll save a lot of money. So we have to educate the staff on it, and since I am super user on the system, I have to be there, even if I am not teaching. :/

Still, it's a day of doing something different.

When we went to Paris a month ago, I bought some new clothes there. One of the items was a new "army" sweater, from a surplus store. It was dirt cheap and super nice, and it was a little too small. I bought it with the clear intention of having it ready for the winter, when I had lost some weight. Well, guess what? I'm wearing it today! :) I like that!

Today, I'm thankful for:
- A workday with different tasks. Variation IS nice sometimes.
- Coffee! I'll be having a LOT of that today. lol.
- Wife!

Life is good! :)

Ugh I hate when meetings consume your work day. Hard to get anything done. Hope it goes quickly and you can keep resisting those candies and gift baskets! I'm SO glad we don't get much of that at my new workplace!

Meetings: where minutes are kept and hours are lost..... Pull the tags so you can send your thank you's and 'Regift' those baskets to another department, shelter or even a random stranger as soon as they arrive. Don't allow their 'one size fits all ' generic holiday gift to tempt you from fitting comfortably into that fantastic new sweater.

Good for you Keld. Ride that wave! Embrace your groove! I was down today too. Had to laugh at the thought of the gift baskets mocking you. I swear food can talk!
