I knew last week was a fluke/false hope weigh-in. But it does still give me hope that I can get down to the mid 170's and it is a reachable mini goal. I am grateful for staying out of the 180's this week.

You got this. Keep at it. Little set backs are gonna happen. Consistency is what’s important—rosio helped me retrain my brain into realizing it’s not always about the scale or the number. It’s how you feel and how you look also. Don’t beat yourself up

Pixie! Pixie! I'm in the 170's with you this morning!!! Well, only in by .2 pounds, but in, nonetheless! I'm going to try to ensure that I STAY in them now! My goal is 175, so I'm getting close! Next goal will be 165. Then 155, where I'll be in the "NORMAL" BMI - At least I'll have ONE thing normal about me!!! LOL!

So true g_ortegam, the scale is helpful... and sometimes it isn't!
Yay Debbie!!! That is my goal too, to just drill down, even if we fluctuate (because I am totally a fluctuator) the overall result will be to hit those mini goals. I was just thinking this morning how I remember being 155 in my late 20's and thinking this is a "good weight" Maybe its the Normal thing... Normal is boring except when it comes to health! Thanks guys!

Just remember that we aren't test tubes in a controlled environment, we are biological barometers that are living in a wildly fluctuating atmosphere (weather). A bathroom scale only measures the gravitational pull on our body and it's contents. Another little factoid is that gravity is not a constant either. Too many things can impact the numbers on the scale. My knee is sore, barometric pressure is rising, I'm up 2 lbs from yesterday. It's inflammation. Nothing to worry about.

I never thought of it like that ConiMN, I always put it down to hormones or water, etc...but I bet that does factor in more than we realize!
