The interview is over and I got word back that they like me so I will be starting there on Monday. Just a little bit longer of a commute but I need to get familiar with the neighborhood. It's dangerously close to a lot of good shopping, hehe.
It's bittersweet because I have really enjoyed working at my current engagement but I always knew it was a short-term gig.
This weekend I will be traveling with DH to Columbus to celebrate his 40th with our friends there. I have a feeling too much alcohol will be consumed but I will try my best to have fun and keep things in moderation. I definitely do NOT want a repeat of the Modonna concert incident.
Today I am especially thankful for one of my FS buddies that bequeathed me her old wardrobe from when she was my size. I feel like Christmas came early. I can't wait to go through all the clothes and try things on.
Today I am also thankful that I won't be going to the bench. I am thankful for the great weather. I guess until April we can just assume that I am thankful for the weather here. Phoenix is awesome in the winter.
The scale is way down today but I can't let that influence me. I don't want to get too happy and then lapse back 5 lbs. again. I need to get out of the 230's once and for ALL!
