I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON HERE.. MY KETO STICKS TURN A VERY LIGHT COLOR.. I AM FOLLOWING REALLY CLOSE.. I STILL FEEL IT IS THE NEW BONIVA INJ I AM TAKING BUT I WILL KEEP GOING.. THE SWOOSH FAIRY HAS TO COME ONE OF THESE DAYS..

AFTER READING AROUND I MAY HAVE HIT ON THE PROBLEM.. I DRINK A LOT OF COFFEE... WITH SACHRINE TABLETS..(SWEET AND LOW). ICED TEA WITH THE TABLETS. THESE ARE NOT DECAFF.... AND THE FLAVORED WATER WITH WHAT EVER SWEETNER THEY USE.. PROB NUTRA SWEET..NOT MY FAV FOR SURE BUT..I DO.. I DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND I MEAN LOTS..I WILL SWITCH TO DECAF TEA AND PLAIN WATER AND LEAVE OUT THE COFFFEE SWEET.. AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS...I TRULY HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING VERY CLOSE.. SO WE WILL SEE HOW THAT GOES..

not to worry, any shade of purple indicates you are in ketosis, stick with the plan, TRY NOT to worry about how long it takes to reach your goal OR the shade of purple, each body runs according to its own clock, or so it seems!

Even if you just show "trace" ketones, you are still in ketosis. A dark color is more of an indicator of dehydration than "better" or "more" ketosis. Try liquid "non-bitter" stevia as a sweetener in your tea. It is an herb that has no calories and a little goes a long way. Check it out at the health food store, but stay away from SteviaPlus because the fiber supplement they add to it gives people some problems.
