5 WEEKS with no loss- I beat you all, so stop complaining, lol. I can say that through the past month my rest-of-me makeover is going great. I started painting again, and I'm starting my portfolio finally. It's so hard to find time to do things I love with a job and husband and dogs. Not a lot of me time there. But I am making an effort.

Made a list of non-fitness goals and I have already checked off a few. One of them was to start a website. So I invested the $9.99 and bought a domain name. Now I have a place to 1. Bank off my mad skills by selling invitations designs, and 2. Eventually post my portfolio and maybe sell some of my paintings.

www.carolinesmithart.com Check it out.

I started to accept that my weight isn't going any lower then I made myself stop it, because I want to reach my goals-they are pretty realistic I feel. I will get to 140 or lower, I will. So I'm reaching out to you guys again, Is there a diet that one of you are on that I should try? Maybe one I can easily find online info for? No cleanses or anything unhealthy, maybe I should try no carb for a bit? Something other than counting calories or points because that does not seem to work. I have lost the will to enter my food or exercise on my calendar. HELP.

I plateaued for about that long. I'll be honest, I was so desperate I tried the cabbage soup diet (i incorporated protein). I gained all the wait back when I stopped it, so don't even go there!!! Excercise, excercise, excercise. 6 days a week. NO excuses. Eat carbs 1-2 hours before a workout (of at least 30 minutes) and protein afterwards. Do not eat after 7 pm. Drink LOTS of water. Avoids carbs as much as you can and make sure you get 10 servings of fruit-veggies plus protein. Eat 4-5 meals with 3 hours in between. This is what I did...and I'm down 8 pounds since then. Good luck!

I love that you're accomplishing all these personal goals. I wish I knew the answer to this plateau for you though! I don't count calories myself anymore. Instead I just listen really closely to my stomach and stop eating when I'm no longer hungry but not completely full. eating when I am hungry also seems to be important. I make sure to get enough protein at each meal otherwise I feel crappy and hungry. and of course your basic eating healthy, drinking water, lots of exercise. a low carb diet may help you... I have not tried any official low carb diets but it seems like they've helped others on here for whom nothing else was working. oh, I checked out your website, its cute. let us know when you post your art!
