i want to thank all of people on this site who have supported me during the last couple of months...they were hard emotionally and physically...thanks for sticking with me and my sparitic posts...
this weekend i decided to bring up the summer clothes from the basement and switch the closets over...after trying on the clothes that i wore last summer and thought looked good, i realized that they do not fit this year...yeah me...so when we went to the funeral of a son of a co-worker of the hubby's, i had not a single pair of pants that fit and looked nice...i did not realize how sloppy i looked in the almost too big clothes, a friend of mine told me at church (we were dressed to go straight to the funneral) that i had a droopy butt)...this is a great feeling...
i had to laugh after going back and reading all of the posts about fiber and moving "things" along the system...i made a crock pot (6 qt) of bean soup this weekend...it has worked great in that area...
once again...thanks for hanging in there with me...i really appreciate it

Sorry about the funeral. Somedays it is easy to realise how blessed we are.
Congrat's on the droopy butt, I am looking forward to a saggy waist.

You know, that's what I was missing. I haven't been eating any beans, except for a little hummus on celery. I decided to change my nutrients list on my food diary to show dietary fiber, so I can try and get close to 25 grams, the RDA.
Great about the droopy butt! This weekend I put on an outfit that I hadn't worn in a couple years, and felt PRETTY. It's been a very long time since I've felt that way. Hope you're feeling it too.
Sorry for your friends' loss. Sounds like a young person, and that is always very sad.

he was 33 years old...had just kicked a drug habit and started working at the prison...his dad and the hubby have worked together for 15 years or so...it is very sad to see someone so young destroy their life so completely...
