I'm up over a pound, but the electrical impedence device on my scales shows my bodyfat down from 32.6% to 31% and muscle up from 34.8% to 36%. So my rest day let my body build more muscle.

I know you're used to losing weight almost EVERY day, Brian, but there are many other factors that play into the number on the scale - water-retention, bowel movements (or lack thereof!), joint inflammation, weight of your clothes (if you WEAR any when you are weighing - I wear PJ's, so it can fluctuate slightly). Don't let it discourage you. All us "normal" folks experience this quite frequently!

Debbie, I'm not discouraged. My main goal is to get my bodyfat below 20% on this scale, which I know will be closer to 15% by the more accurate skin-fold caliper. I'm more interested in seeing my bodyfat percentage drop than my weight change.
