It seems the Apple Watch isn’t all that accurate for exercise. I raced through the stores today trying to grab everything I needed in a hurry. It was cold and rainy so I literally ran from the car to the stores and from the store to my car. I climbed up and down steps at the game tonight. This shows 5 minutes of exercise and 0 flights. Less than 4K steps as well even though I was home room mom today for the special snack and walked around that room for an hour on top of my 2 hour shopping trip, decorating cupcakes, in and out loading and unloading the car etc. The overall calories do seem fairly accurate though so I’ll focus on that. I figured out the stand thing is 1 minute per hour! So I could be active 12 minutes a day and get that goal lol. But I finally found where it says who many hours I’m active and it’s been almost 15 hours today. Not too shabby!! I even snuck in a quick hour nap between shopping and the games. It probably counted the games as active because I was going up and down stairs, clapping or dealing with a 4 year old who wanted on my lap, off my lap, bathroom breaks, snack breaks, concession stand dinner etc. I only slept like 3 hours last night so that allowed for more activity too.

Yeah, I think these watches are pretty worthless.

Well I can’t say that because hubby gave it to me lol. He won it for an award at work but doesn’t like gadgets and won’t even wear the expensive watch I bought him years ago. He said he didn’t want it to go to waste and knew I was frustrated with my cheap tracker. It’s nicer than the tracker and I have a Minnie face that tells me the time when I tap the screen so that I don’t have to look at it and that’s nice. I do like how it logs straight to my phone whereas my tracker would log to health app (that’s how my watch logs) however the health app would input the info from the tracker AND the phone. So some days it said I burned 3000 kcal and others it wouldn’t log anything. The watch is at least consistent to what I believe my actual BMR to be. 1440. FS says 1800 to maintain 😳. This watch also does heart rate and that’s kinda neat to play with. If it ever crashes I’ll just use the cheap tracker again though ;). It’s fun but not worth the money unless it’s going to be spot on with every single feature. I’m to demanding and picky lol.

*IF* I were to say that he would be upset therefore I must say it’s an awesome watch and has many interesting capabilities. 😉😉😉🤪
