Woke up today and the scale bounced between 159 and 160. I haven’t seen that number since early October, before I started really falling off the wagon. I’m finally completely cleansed of sugar, it’s been four days. I’m not even having any Stevia. I know Stevia is better than Splenda, which has a chlorine molecule apparently that triggers sugar cravings. But as a very severe sweets and carbohydrate addict, I’ve gone back to my way of eating that I was practicing this summer that provided such incredible results for me. It is primarily low calorie, moderate fat, moderate protein, and high raw or steamed vegetables. Very little preferably no refined foods whatsoever. Also I am foregoing fruits and replacing them with vegetables, as I am going to try to not trigger my sweet tooth addiction. I’m going to use up this tub of margarine and then I’m going to switch to butter.

I first managed to stop binging (5,000&up) and then I just made it a goal to try to keep my calories under 2000. A couple of good days doing this, and working really hard physically, a couple of pounds fell off and then I was just completely motivated. I’m finding my anger is going away, and everything I’ve been dealing with in my personal life I’ve made peace with. Food addiction is so emotional!Thank you to everyone on the site who has listened to me vent and rant, I had a lot of family stuff that just really was creating a resurgence in my food addiction, and as a recovered bulimic and anorexic I can’t afford to go down that road...
