Fasted from Friday 9pm to Sunday 4pm
Ketosis meter is saying 80... according to the color chart. There is a 160, the highest one, but don't know why I didn't get allll the way up there? The only thing I had was 1/2c.chicken broth last night about 8pm. I was feeling very tired and lethargic, in which it did keep a lot more than I thought it would.

when you have no food the keytones can drop as the body uses them for fuel. complicated process. hi ketone level is only important when you are using the process for healing. if you had a ton of just plain fat you would have higher ketones. when you get tired and weak fasting having some fat will not mess with your fasting but will give you energy. fat does not raise the glucose level so insulin is not activated. over my head mostly but some of the basics I read time and time again.

When you see Ketones you are in ketosis. Just because the colour is darker does not mean that you are in more ketosis. Any ketosis is good. Also you may after a few weeks not see anything when measuring because your body is using them as energy. Apparently that is a really good thing So you did great
