debzc's Journal, 28 March 2008

Another day in! It was a crazy day and I didn't get enough calories in. Now, it's late and I need to eat more so I don't mess up my metabolism. This doesn't happen very often. I think I'll make some pastachio pudding.

I've been looking at a lot of graphs lately. They can tell such a story....our bumps in the road and the determination we continue to have. So to get a different look on my graph, I'm thinking of recording weigh ins more often. I'm starting to journal daily so why not record my weight? I like the "wormy" look so I think that's what I'll go after.

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone! GO ADVENTURER'S GO!!!

good luck with your new weighing habits! some people don't like to weigh in every day, but I've come to prefer it. How do you make pistachio pudding?

Ooh, pistachio pudding sounds yummy! If I ever need a calorie binge I eat nuts... usually cashew nuts - although I love them so much that I've got to be careful that I don't go over the top with them!!! That is so true though that our graphs tell such a story... it's a long haul down, but then I think helps when you can look back and see how far you've come. I weigh myself every day just out of curiosity, but personally I would find the daily fluctuations too off putting to record them every day. But you do whatever will keep you motivated and have a fantastic weekend! ;o)

Ooh that does sound yummy!! I've started journalling and weighing in daily recently, and it's definitely helping me stay focused. It is a bit of a rollercoaster at times, especially when the scales move in the opposite direction to what you'd have expected due to random fluctuations. However, provided you can keep an eye on the bigger picture, it could help - worth a try!! :)

Everyone needs to do what is right for them! Keeping track daily could be just what you need to keep on track. Just do what ever works best for YOU. I'm like MoonLite is, I weigh every morning but I don't record every day. I like my chart to have a nice downward slope! I did record gains when I went off blood pressure meds so I could have a record of what was happening. The site and the challenges insist you record once a week, so thats been pretty good with me. It upsets me when my chart moves upward. My weight can fluctuate like crazy from day to day but it always ends up downward by the end of a week.
