OK! I made it through last night without getting up and munching! I feel good about that - it seems once I placed those words on paper, I became 100% more conscious. That's pretty cool! I'm also feeling a lot better since I came back to some good habits. My attitude is much better!
Tonight, I will get my exercise done. I'm back to "Walk Away the Pounds", the 3 mile walk. Next week, I hope to add about 10-15 minutes per day. I don't know why but I really don't like exercise and I don't want to burn myself out. My goal is to get up to 5-6 one hour sessions per week. I like to take at least 1 day off per week.
Have a great day everyone! GO ADVENTURER'S GO!!!

Oh the exercise!!! When we did the Born to be wild challenge I worked up from 20 min a day, to adding 10min..to adding another 10 min..and now do 40 min. at least 4 times a week. I try for all days but like you, need at least one day a week off (even God rested one day a week)! :D I like your idea of adding time gradually to your workouts. You don't want to get discouraged but adding a little at a time will become more of a habit for you. I never thought I would see the day when I felt I had to get my exercise in..or that I would "miss" it..but if you keep at it you will surprise yourself with how much of a habit it will become. You are doing great, you are committed and you are doing your best, what more could anyone ask!
Hey! I also have the night time munchies problem. I found that if I get online and come here I don't eat..but if I go watch tv I do eat! I am going to try doing something else..like file my nails or something to try to keep my hands busy.

Awesome job avoiding the late night munchies. I'm glad you are feeling more positive, too. I agree with Janelle about exercise becoming a habit. I used to hate exercise, too and never, ever kept up with a program for longer than a couple of sporadic weeks. Between forcing myself to keep it up during the last challenge and finding exercise I enjoy (I run and do Turbo Jam), I somehow managed to make it a daily habit. So it is possible!

I definitely agree too that exercise does become a habit and thanks to the BTBW challenge and our fabulous Red Ferrari team for really starting me off... it has become a habit! So stick with it Debzc and eventually I'm sure your mindset will change and you will actually enjoy it. Finding something I enjoy doing and variation I've found is the key for me. I know that I get bored otherwise hence why I invested in some exercise workout DVD's! Lol... no excuses there that it's raining or anything the fact that I can do indoors!! I now really enjoy doing them and know that they have made such a difference in weight loss and above all muscle tone. In just under 2 months, I can see such a difference... so I really, really do encourage you to stick with it as once you start to see results it does become addictive! :o)
