Today, I am feeling blah.
I had a weekend full of emotions. I had a memorial service on Saturday. And Sunday was the series finale of Lost. Which, strangely has affected me to the point of depression. My friends had a Lost party, and there was a ton of food. I stuck to the healthier fare, garden salad, turkey potstickers. I even made healthy cupcakes. Well, not healthy, but low calorie and delicious, nonetheless.
I'm up a little bit today, but I'm blaming that on the Sangria I drank and the chicken legs that were a little on the greasy side. Oh and the four beers and two shots I had on Saturday night. I'm not really worried. I'm up less than 2lbs, and I'm drinking all the water I can stomach today. I'm going to get out on a walk tonight, and maybe even a little jogging action. Just to get the blood pumping. It was really cloudy this morning, which was adding to my overall feeling of "yuck," but it's starting to clear up now, which is also making me feel better.
I'm sure I'll post a loss sometime this week, as long as I work at it. So I'm not focusing on that as much. I realize that I'm kind of at a plateau right now, and that weight will not be coming off as quickly as I would like, but I'm not going to stress about it. I'm going to enjoy myself, but keep myself in check at the same time. Next weekend, I have a wedding to go to. I'm really going to watch what I eat there, and not really go overboard on the snacks and the drinks, I'll stick mainly to the meal, and not so much at the cocktail hour.
