So, today is the auction. Part of me hopes the house sells, so it can all be over, but the rest of me doesn't want to leave. I'm so nervous, I don't know how I'm going to get any work done!

Home is where you hang your hat. Don't worry about it too much. You have a place to go and you are getting your deposit back plus a moving allowance. You will find somewhere better. Have faith! You are stronger than you know.

oh yeah, update about the deposit...I took the check into Wells Fargo, and they said the funds were "unavailable". I'm glad I didn't just deposit it into my account, it would have bounced! I'm hoping it's because it was Monday, and the landlord hadn't moved money around yet...I hope he didn't knowingly write me a bad check for $1500!
