So today marks the first day in over a month that I've had coffee. I haven't been sleeping well lately, I guess from stress, and last night I didn't get to sleep until well after 2am! The good news is, yesterday we got our deposit back from the landlord! And we worked out a deal with the bank that is auctioning off the house on Tuesday. If we are out by Thursday night, they will give us $3500 to help with moving costs! My eating was pretty good yesterday. I had a kinda big breakfast - Grits, Eggs, and Turkey Pastrami - A awesome asian salad for lunch, with iced tea, and Lentils with Brown Rice for dinner...all in all, a good day!

Coffee has been given a bad rap when in reality, 2 to 3 cups a day has actually been shown to be BENEFICIAL. Unless you have some medical reason for avoiding caffeine, you shouldn't feel bad if you have a cup or two a day. Awesome news about your deposit and moving allowance! Bonus! My problem isn't really the coffee...it's the cream and sugar :). I guess if I budget it into my calories, it couldn't hurt!

try starbucks skinny latte! If you get a tall it is only 90 calories and the caramel is AWESOME :)

You can buy the flavored syrups (sugar free ones, too!) from Starbucks. I bought the sugar free Cinnamon Dolce. It is divine! And I can make my own skinny lattes and cappucinos for a fraction of the cost. Yummo!

Do you just buy a coffee then and add the syrup? Or is this something you can make at home? I love the skinny lattes too there-I've only had mocha but it's so expensive it's just a once in a while treat. I'm interested to hear more about that syrup!
