For the last 3 days, I haven't had to have any additional insulin. Today I made a mistake with one of the foods I usually ordered. I thought it would be ok. After trying to add to today's diary I couldn't find the nutritional panel. However, after looking up the recipe I quickly realized I won't be buying them again as it did spike my insulin response and I required 10 units of novorapid. I am a little disappointed but I know I won't be buying them again.

On a side issue. I went out for dinner tonight and I had a sausage entree, I didn't eat the potato. I had a beautiful piece of eye fillet with red wine gravy and left the potato gratin and had a side of greens. Then for dessert, I had a piece of dark chocolate cake with cream and a raspberry sauce that had been made by the chef. I am still waiting for the insulin spike but there has been none yet. Although I had an average day with my food, I had a major win with some others things that I have been working on. So I still feel as though I am on a win
179.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
