Apparently to get enough protein in my daily intake all I have to do is eat primarily meat lol. 4 or 5 other items today, other than that it's all meat or eggs. Not sure how long I can keep that up. Have a great day y'all!

You can always buy protein powders, I don’t recommend them but they are a good option

@Rosio my breakfast is almost always eggs...unless I make pancakes on Sundays.. I can't stomach most protein mixes. I do use a quarter of the premier protein shake to take my vitamins but that's the extent of it because my stomach does not do well without solid food. I strive for at least 75grams of protein...I just don't make it very often lol. Today I hit over 100 grams.....I'm happy.

I like premier protein shakes. The caramel and the banana cream are my favorites. Peach isn’t bad but I don’t care for the strawberry. 160 cal for the premade Shake. I normally have it as an evening snack to complete my 100g of protein. I had it for breakfast this morning as I was running behind. Not a good idea lol. Lactose issues and this is a milk concentrate. Have had NO issues until this morning so I know now that I’m golden as long as I don’t drink it on an empty stomach. Should’ve known as chocolate milk for breakfast as a kid would do the same.

@keilin I'm just watching my calories. I have to make sure I'm over 1000 (or my hubby gets upset with me and I get the "lecture" lol) but I also try to keep it lower than 1500 while saving enough for a dessert or snack at night. @peeper I have the caramel ones right now that I'm using to take my vitamins at night. The thickness and flavor of the shake help the pills go down ( like a spoonful of sugar lol ) and disguise their flavor.

@peeper I used to have a premier chocolate protein shake for breakfast every morning for nearly 2 years. But then my body decided only solid food would do. Plus I can't stand the shakes unless they are frozen like a milkshake lol

I keep mine on the top shelf in the fridge. Milk and eggs freeze on that shelf ;). So far the shakes haven’t but I can sip on it for half an hour and it’s still cold. Cold enough to hurt my sensitive teeth at the beginning. I take chewable vitamins because I can’t seem to swallow most pills. Loaded with calories and carbs but it’s worth it as I tend to be physically ill when pills get stuck in my throat. And when I remember tot ale all of them it’s only about 100 calories. Next time I have to take an antibiotic I’ll try using the shake! Thanks for the tip!
