No calorie deficit for me today. Had a big breakfast with my husband: pineapple, watermelon, stolen kisses, 5 chewy chocolate chip cookies, 5 carob chip date bites. 1000 calories before 10. Mood today was pretty much the to be expected mood T-1 of cycle time, that is to say, ornery sensitive and needy. I shopped for decorations for the birthday boy tomorrow, I took a long nap. I also worked on my phone for 8 hours getting all legal documentation gathered for my security clearance requirements in 2 weeks. Not good to put it off. Brought the 15 year old to cross country, sat down to dinner. Old me would have been not having dinner, due to the amount of calories I consumed earlier. Not the case anymore. I gobbled up leftover grilled meat with an incredible sweet brown mustard, and a huge artisan salad with shredded cheese and sunflower seeds. So, I’m over by about 700 calories. No discomfort whatsoever, just stating the facts for the record. I can’t believe I ate the cookies today, and it was delicious... dumb PMS. On the bright side, women have a slightly elevated metabolism leading up to cycle time, so knowing that definitely played in to my indulgences. I ate very well aside from cookies, and I am sure that my loss is going to continue slowly progressing. I really am crabby, though, so I’m gonna just check out. Please be kind to yourself today.
