I went out last night to a social setting and my desire for food, thinking about the food that was out, the free "candy cart", spiked. I truly believe like Pavlov's Dog, just being there, entering the room caused my insulin to spike. It really wasn't until I woke up at about 5am that the cravings were gone and I felt "normal/under control again". So frustrating to be in a social setting and think about food the entire time. WHY??? Everyone else in the room seems so normal. You saw what I ate, sparkling water... yet today I feel completely exhausted and hung over. Anyhow, onward and upward - I did not cave and hope I will get stronger every day.
