Hello all, just got back from grocery shopping.
i realized today, I have a bit of a fetish with two food items..cereal and pudding. If I see it I buy it no matter if I have more at home. After all what if there was a shortage and I couldn't get it!?? I would die! LOL! Really folks I have a problem..I currently have six cases of ready made pudding, four different varieties, and 12, yes you heard right..12 boxes of cereal, not all opened. Not all healthy, either! Some are, like All Bran, Special K protein, Fiber One original, Fiber one carmel squares, Kashi Go Lean, and Go Lean honey flax, but I also have such dietary wonders such as Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams, Corn Pops, Golden Crisp, Froot Loops Smoothie, and Honeycomb. HA! I named t hem all without double-checking! That alone shows how obbsessed I am!! Whwenever I see a new kind of cereal I want to try it, unless it is just seriously high in calories. A couple of the cereals I have are high, Like Go Loean honey flax cruch, it has 200 calories per cup, so I usually have 1/4 cup on yogurt or mix it with a low calorie cereal, same with Fiber One carmel square. The original only has 120 calories per cup, but that kind has 180 calories per cup! That's a bit much. It's all right but Golden Grahams taste better. I eat cereal dry as a snack more often than eating it with milk. It just lasts longer and it's hard not to eat too much when eating a bowl of cereal, at least for certain kinds of cereal. Mixing Fiber one helps a lot, both because it slows down the eating and it fills you up for fewer calories. That's one cereal I never run out of.
Like I said ya'll, I'm cereal crazy! Lock me up! LOL!
Oh, yes and I have been guilty of eating pudding for breakfast! With cottage cheese, but still..yes I'm weird!

You know what??? I used to be crazy about cereal too! there wasn't a day for a while there, that I didn't have it! I finally broke that habit, but it took me a couple of years! Now, in retrospect, I wish I had just left my healthy habits alone, because I replaced it with peanut butter! Anyway, I hear that the sweetened cereal makes good low fat snacks!! :)

INDEEED! :) I tried to give up cereal before but it aint happenin'..I would just give andBINGE on huge amount of it, AND peanut butter! Better to make peace with what you like! But I have been guily of cutting back on healthy food(veggies, fruit, protien) to eat cereal or diet junk like 100 calorie packs. Which are yummy, although TINY!!lol I just need to get a little more balanced that's all, I get hungry at night if I don't eat enough protien.
