Yesterday I had a strong desire for a chocolate chip cookie. I drove to Subway to get one or some and I bought a tuna fish sandwich instead. The minute I bought it, I lost my desire for the cookie. I feel that is a great victory! If I buy a cookie then there is not much stopping me from doing that again and again. Today I feel like a winner because of yesterday. Today is Valentine's Day. I weighed in at 163 which is back to my lowest again. I can't wait to see 162, 161 and 160 for the first time in a year, too! I am going to continue to lose weight this year. I love myself that much to not eat bad desserts that make me gain weight. Good Luck to everyone on this very special but very difficult day to resist chocolate, especially. The key is moderation if you do indulge, right?

If you do indulge, savor it! I eat small bits of extra dark chocolate (75%-85%) almost everyday and by savoring it, I get plenty of satisfaction.

Great choices!!!!! Hersheys now makes 100 calorie chocolate covered pretzels and dark choc bars... all only 100 calories. If I HAVE to, I eat that. Still feel guilty, but not as bad...
