Lunch at the senior center:

That breading made me tired, but I knew what I was doing. Chicken Fried Steak is a Texas tradition. (They should have served fried okra with it!) I was tried of Naked Chicken. Tomorrow may become a fasting day. The menu says Beef Stroganoff, and I don't know how they will handle that. I make mine with full-fat sour cream and skip the noodles. What will they do? I ate too much over the weekend, so a day off of food might do me good. It's just a matter of actually doing it. Fasting became hard this year, and that puzzles me. Maybe it's tougher at home. Last year, I accomplished it on the road.

I have some vegetables here at home. Perhaps I'll cook them and take them with me. I'll decide later. Tomorrow will be a day busy with activity. Today, the garden lady asked me to help with tomato harvest later this week, so I have that to look forward to.

My sister came down from Wyoming. As we looked at my tiny garden, she remarked that she has not been able to get anything into the ground yet, but I was harvesting! Later, I'll post new pictures.
