I've gotten into a bad habit of eating TWO breakfasts. Neither of them is a good choice. But, as soon as I finish eating the first one, I go ahead and prepare the second one. I'm also eating WAY too many snacks each day. Not drinking ANY water, and getting very little exercise. GOT to get this rear in gear before I end up back at my highest weight of 302! HELP, Lord!
240.5 lb Lost so far: 18.5 lb.    Still to go: 90.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I have 2 breakfasts.....well sort of. 1st one is a homemade wholemeal oat cookie with a cup of fennel tea, 2nd one is a piece or 2 of fruit, some cornflakes or bran flakes (1 measured portion) and some nuts with a nice big cup of black coffee. You got this Debbie!!!!!

I put off breakfast (except for coffee) until later, telling myself I'll really enjoy it then, but first I'll do one or two things. Then I might delay it some more. Next thing I know I have breakfast for lunch. Having a list of things to do helps. I know you can do this. You've done it before!

I'm similar except I don't want breakfast but battle late night cravings. I'm terrible about drinking plain water. When I force myself to drink it I stand at the sink and guzzle a glass so I can enjoy a glass of unsweet tea with fresh lemon or orange slices, or diet pepsi. I call it balance! 😀 one day at a time💛

Why are you doing that? I don't know how to help and maybe that seems like a dumb question to ask oneself- but something to really think about. I don't know. I suck at advice. I just want you to succeed.

When that happens it usually means that you aren't full or satisfied from the 1st one. What are you eating? I'm going to guess that it may not be as nutritious as your body needs. Just a suggestion, (it works for me) no sugary items at this time! Breakfast is a meal that is supposed to fuel you. Make an egg, some kind of meat,(at least 3oz) and a small amount of cheese.(1Tblsp) After you eat, make yourself wait at least 20-30 min before you make something else. If you are still hungry eat plain Greek yogurt with a small squeeze of honey and a few berries. If not hungry, walk away. I'm telling you this works! Good luck!

I try to walk first thing in the morning. come home drink a bottle of water. then coffee and breakfast. Try to have a plan and food ready to go for each day.

How about eating more water rich vegetables and fruit for this next week as “2nd breakfast”? Watermelon, cantaloupe, zucchini/yellow squash, & cucumber. It will up your water intake with refilling your glass and satisfy urge to eat 2nd breakfast. ( PS I think of LOTR every time I type second breakfast 😀 ) I bet you can shop or order these foods & spend an hour cutting them up so there ready to go when you reach for it. Hope that helps or that you try something else that works. You can do this!

Is it because you are still very hungry after the first breakfast? I put off eating or skip breakfast first thing in the morning because I don't want to screw it up and overeat and then feel guilty and stressed all day. Plus I like the anticipation of knowing I can have a big dinner. For some reason, eating a full breakfast makes me hungrier during the day so I usually just skip it and have an apple. And if I'm going to exercise that day, I don't want heartburn which happens if I eat certain foods, usually breakfast foods. My weakness is after dinner snacking. Good luck.

Hey I am a newbie here, started today, not good at drinking water, but did today, doing a 1800 calorie a day goal baby steps, weight 234 determined to do this❗️

I’m not a dietician, but try getting more fiber in your first breakfast. An apple, sprinkle some chia seeds in yogurt. Fiber makes you feel full, so you may not need the second breakfast
