I don't usually record weight until Mondays, but was happy for a little loss today!

Today was the day for trying new things.

Made my muffin tin meatloaves. I grated some zucchini and mushed it in there. Trying to get RM to like zucchini. I converted him to cauliflower 15 years ago when I made a 7 layer salad that he loved. Now he loves it when I make anything with cauliflower. Soooo...today's meatloaves were a success. I'll be inserting zucchini into foods from time to time in order to tempt him.

I've been reading a lot about SoulCore and Pietra. I haven't joined anything or gone to any classes, but decided to try integrating stretching into my daily Rosary. I'm going to have to tweak this. It is easier to do stretches where I just hold than anything that requires counting...it isn't conducive to true concentration on the scripture. I found my rhythm during the second decade.

Met calorie goal.

Bike 60.

Stretching 30. New blue band. Scriptural Rosary.
-Hip extension with band 50 rep
-Hip abduction with band 50 rep
-Raised lunges hold 15 seconds, 5 times each leg
-Balance Tandem hold 15 seconds, 5 times each leg
-Knee Extension with band 50 rep
-Seated Hip Flexion hold 15 seconds, 5 times each leg

I love zucchini - such a versatile alternative to pasta but still the same type texture.. lasagna, ravioli, etc.

Yes Mira, I have a couple of audio CDs too. RM prefers to read the scripture out loud as it helps him absorb it better. We have 4 different scriptural Rosary books with the 4 types of mysteries. We also have one that has nontraditional Rosaries with scriptures for various topics, like healing. Yes, that is a good site you referenced. Pray on soul sister ❤😍

That’s a wonderful idea to add to meatloaf Nobody will ever guess !!! I have grated it and added to my coleslaw as a stretchy fill in And again Nobody guesses 😂 Zucchini rocks as a healthy addition to any meal Zucchini bread MUST be portioned out though 😋😂
