Keto girl here: I don't think I'm doing much differently , but I am starting to consistently lose weight after 10 months keto. I did give up heavy cream in the morning , so I am only drinking a cup of black coffee. I am eating more beef and less chicken and turkey. I think my body likes beef. I'm out of pork until it goes on sale again so hamburgers it will be. I hope everyone is doing well , this month, April, I might have a record weight-loss. I lost almost 4 pounds in Beury which is fantastic for me.keto on my friends. never give up.
167.5 lb Lost so far: 62.5 lb.    Still to go: 52.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

How does March become Beury. Well, the wonders of autocorrect. Anyways, I am not sure I will weigh yet. Still just focussing on input rather than results. But at some point a scale may become useful again.

Thanks Jenjabba: This is an encouraging post. I'm hopelessly stalled, for weeks now, not days. So my keto friend told me to Google the egg diet. I'm going for it. I've got to do something to get the weight moving OFF. I'm walking like a crazy person, at least daily. Your post makes me not want to give up although this morning I was ready to chuck it and try cals only. Here we GO!!!

by taking out the cream in your coffee, you're fasting longer and not realizing, or that's coffee with breakfast?

It's not fasting because I went a full month carnivore with no dairy and i was still stalled

Llamapalooza53 I hear ya! Stick with it! I told myself I will never go back to a low calorie low fat diet again. I can't maintain it. I feel like I am starving and weak and I"m always hungry. ON Keto, at least I am satisfied. I don't have to feel like i'm starving. I tried cutting calories but I ended up going on a cake and pizza binge. I have tried so many variations. All meat, no diary, one meal a day, etc. Nothing seemed to kick myself into true weight loss mode. Some months I lost, some months i didn't. THE BIGGEST difference on keto, I can eat a pound of bacon and not gain weight. So , the days, I feel very hungry, I"m not worried about what to eat. I stick to KETO and I don't gain. That is a HUGE benefit. I am also starting to feel better. I walk 2 sometimes 3 miles a day. Sometimes less. But they are not good cardio workouts. But at least I am moving. Keep trying to change things up. Try something for a while. I have become very patient and acceptance of 2 pound a month loss. I don't like it, but it is way better than YOYO low calorie diet. I'll take it!

That is exactly how I feel too Jenjabba. I have never been able to calorie count. But I am very comfortable in ketosis. I love the food and the choices. There are times when it is not possible to eat within the rules (social events usually) and then I just do eat what is served and that so far is not really an issue. I know some people feel that keto is not flexible but how I see it, it is. I can eat food X anytime I choose to. And usually I choose not to but I am always doing what I want

Yes jen. Never give up! I lost a lot of weight in the past with low cal/low fat...however I could not maintain it. Keto is a much easier lifestyle change for me even if my weight loss has slowed significantly. We have to keep adjusting and living...never give up, never going back!
