Day 2 of a planned 2 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
Blood sugar 88 mg/dL

👍🏾 I lost 7 pounds in 3 days.

🌊 Water fasting may take ‘work’ (breaking the habit of eating ANYTHING when my emotions and boredom go up and down during the day takes ‘mental work’), but, darn if it isn’t effective 😊

What seems to work is 'water fasting' only the first two days, and then drinking 900 calories and 15 carbs of 🥛 Protein Shakes the other days. I also made sure I 🏃🏾 ran at least 3 miles or hit the gym for 🏋🏾 weight lifting each day.

My goal now is to not gain a lot of weight back this weekend. There is a birthday celebration and an expensive dinner planned on Sunday. Yeah I ‘could’ just ‘act right’ but, I am able to fast during the week because I know I will be able to eat anything I want on the weekends.

My plan is to run and workout with weights on Saturday. I *may* be able to avoid gaining a pound. This way I can afford a 2-3 pound gain on Sunday.

Monday, back to the diet. This time I may try to water fast on Monday, and then ‘no solid food fast’ the rest of the week (meaning, I will allow myself as many Protein Shakes, in heavy cream, as I want throughout the day).

Yes, it's hard what we do, it's why not everybody loses weight or maintain a weight loss.
