I weigh every day but don't record it - seen too many bumps that disappear if I keep doing what I am supposed to do. Hope you have a good commute!

I weigh only in the mornings when I wake up. It goes up daily but is down the next morning. When I see my doc it’s always in the afternoon after lunch. Bummer. I tell them their scales are lying😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I also ride daily however in 20 minit intervals and walk at night. On days off I go longer. I have had 2 open heart surgeries and am regaining my stamina for long rides like I used to do. My heart is good it’s the arteries that were the issue with cholesterol due to damage from smoking when i was 16 to age 23. I’m 66 now. I recently did a 29 mile ride average speed 14 plus mph and developed bad cramps in my thighs 3 miles from my home. Figured it was low sodium as my blood work shows my sodium levels stay at borderline. It took 4 days to be pain free. Didn’t ride for 2 days then did slow rides to stretch the muscles out. I had plenty of h2o on the ride. I ride a hybrid which has over 7000 miles on it plus

you might try a mineral oil spray Bill, I suffer from cramps all the time and go to a physical therapist to lengthen my shortened calf muscles. He told me to spray after every exercise session. the cramps have stopped. SDcyclist I also weigh daily, I know that it will always go up and down. It is natural, our bodies will retain different amounts of water each day. I do it first thing in the morning too. by mid afternoon with all the water I drink, I can be 4 pounds heavier. Don't stress about the water weight changes. If you are doing your diet, it will all level out.

GOOGLE an article titled, "Why the Scale Lies." It is about how and why the numbers are just numbers...bodyfat % is a better indication.

Don't worry about it. Look at the longer trend. Hydration levels and compilation of stuff on board changes everyday.

I used to weigh in every day, but I let it determine my mood for the day and I stopped. I am now on a once a week weigh in and it is working better for me now.

I only weigh in 2 times a week. Just to see where I am before and after the weekend. Weighing more than that was driving me crazy.

I'm a daily weigher, too. I may have to switch out because the fluctuations drive me crazy, too.

I was an obsessive "weigh iner" talking like 4 times a day. I stopped because it often times just left me very frustrated. I have decided to trust my programming and an almost always pleasantly surprised with my weekly weigh in results! IDK about you but I would fluctuate 1-3 lbs daily and it is just very frustrating when your busting your ass!

I tend to do better and stay more in control when i weigh in everyday. It does drive you crazy a bit Because some days i really feel good about dieting and think it should be less or it ends up going up a little. So i make my official weigh in on Thursdays and just weigh in everyday to keep my self accountable.

Yeah, I did that too and it is just frustrating, it's not just the weight, it's body fat, lean mass and hydration that mess up. I have finally found out that best time to weigh is usually before dinner, far from training (I usually train in the morning) and with the right level of hydration (when I weighed in the morning I was usually too dehydrated after a night of sleep). It's the best combination for body composition scales, according to the producer of mine, and it works OK with me.
