Needing fs motivation...good Saturday morning...sticking to a food routine seems to be harder...i have no problem getting my zwift rides in...just can't seem to stick to eating right...i put what I'm gonna eat for the day in my food menu...but....for some reason other food seems to find it's way into my hands as the day progresses...im thinking it's the cold weather...but that's just my excuse for eating it...need fs buddies to keep me on track...had others that use to send me daily emails to keep me motivated...but they hit their goals...or became in active....im within 30 pounds of hitting my goal...but my weight is up...alot of salt has been eaten over several days...so water retention is just part of the problem as well....ive cone so far an yet the end to success is so far...

We need to find your evil twin - who may be hiding in your house somewhere - and slay him so that he does not make you eat the things that you should not eat... especially the salty stuff!

I've noticed you have a salad everyday for your main meal. Perhaps it's time to switch things up and have hot meals instead?

i try an eat my main meal first thing in the morning...so that when i get off of my bike..im burning biggest meal first thing..then as day goes along i try an eat fewer calories as i go back into my 20 hour fasting mode... i have been eating hot meals...hence the salt intake...

This month so far I have had my great days keeping on track and other days - well lets just say I ate and ate. I know I will have good and not so good days. I don't dwell on the bad days. We have a recipe on how to lose weight - You are now within 30 #'s of your goal - GREAT JOB - Today, I made a committment to myself that I will get back on track and I will continue to get healthier and I will hit my goal and then maintain it. It's an affirmation that I use. Good luck on your journey - you can do this - I BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN

Time to get with it and make the decision to fight it. You can do it it’s mind over matter... The reality is it’s a war on trying to eat right I’ve been there. Refocus you’re so close you can do it ........

I think the cold weather has something to do with wanting to eat more or eat heavier meals. At least it seems to for me. And there are many things I eat ONLY this time of year, during the holidays. That's making it really hard for me. But I try to keep up on walking daily and it seems like your exercise routine is very important and motivating for you.

All great posts! I would suggest lowering you carbs to under 20 a day, no salt period and then there is the mindset which you must have because look at your results! Keep reminding yourself that 1. Your worth the effort 2. Visualze yourself at goal 3. Don't compare yourself to anyone else on FatSecret we are all individuals! Good luck you've got this, believe!

thanks everyone...if my eating was on track like my workouts..would be great..might not be seeing results on scales..but have learned to accept that..as the scales dont always move with my riding on a regular basis..i see more results in inches with the daily riding routine..
