Started 2017 bedridden with spinal stenosis excruciating pain @260 pounds.
Nothing helped the pain, then I got to thinking. I've had spinal stenosis for years
A result of pounding the pavement delivering the mail for 25 years.
Then the light went off! But, I wasnt over weight then.
So to test my theory I would lose the pounds.
Sure enough I dropped the pounds got under 200 on Thanksgiving 2017.
Haven't had any spinal stenosis pain since!

No excuses, like holdays birthdays anniversaries if I want to live to see more.
Remind myself dailey to stay on track!
Get on board or get out of my way!
This is Serious!

Then September 14, 2017 I found FatSecret, and many supportive people,I weighed 237.
I was hellbent on ending diabetes.
Ironically I learned more on FS than in any doctors office.
Cut my carbs, drank 8-10 glasses of water, ate chicken, fish, shrimp and more chicken!
Am I sick of water, you betcha, do I still drink it yup!
My determination proved successful, I am NO longer a diabetic!
Did I ever waiver, cheat or go off plan, NO!
The way I looked at it dieting is a mindset and theres something to be said about being a Taurus
that stubborness paid off!

My goal is no longer the blue line, my goal is my health!

Update March 29, 2018 I have lost 100 pounds!
I no longer take any medicine I am no longer considered a diabetic. I no longer have high blood pressure I no longer have acid reflux!

Type 2 Diabetes
My dctor referred me to a so called diabetis specialist, I told her I didnt own diabetis and would end it. Her exact words "you can't once you have it you will always have it" Walked out and never went back.
Don't tell me I can't do anything cause I take it as a challenge.
I proved her wrong ended diabetis and high blood pressure. I don't need or take any medications!

Zero Carb Pasta Recommendations
Have you tried to rinse it throughly, boil it, then cook in without any liquids dry pan to dry it out!
Then when you put it with a sauce it will hold the flavor of the sauce good luck!
