trying to be brave enough to post a before and now pic... well it's not the real "before" pic ... I was trying to be honest with myself and went pretty.....bare let's say, for the very first one ..so I don't think I'll put that on here... but i have a pic after I lost 10 pounds that is still pretty bad... and then one after losing 33 pounds.... you can see a difference..... think I should? ? is this part of being honest about my weight since I lied to myself for so long???? if I was going to be honest about my weight anywhere it would be here.....

ok..... here's the edit plus a picture. ... be kind lol... it's not my very first before pic but the second cause... well... clothes LOL!!!! .. kinda wish I did my hair and make up and stuff for the 219lbs but whatever.... so there ya go... throwing it all out there....

I've now lost a total of 34.7 pounds..

I'm all about transparency so I say go for it. The people on here that are afraid to post pics or even show their faces are suspect. I'd save the bare one for family, though. lol

Posting progress pics can be encouraging for you as you'll get some positive reinforcement, and encouraging for others also.

I say do what makes YOU feel good! You could always put those little black "bands" across the most "sensitive" areas, lol. I will be honest and say I am not EVER posting bare parts of me, so no worries everyone, hahahaha!

Your call if it makes you happy to post all of them go for it, if you don't want to then don't. but it is good to take them and track your progress

You probably don't remember this Hunter, but I told you that at the rate you were going back then, you would be amazed at the difference YOU would see in a picture then and three month's later. You've done well Hunter and I am sure it will continue!! I did the same in mid Feb, as acknowledgement and thank you's for the help and support I received along the way. Three of them folks are above me in this post, thank you again!!

It took me 50 lbs to actually post a pic.. BUT when I did, it was very rewarding. One thing I can say is no one here will ever judge you in a negative way. If you are proud of how you look and feel, then post it.. I take pics every 10 lbs bc I like to the results. Its been a long time since I posted bc Im stalled but I love to post my pics. It makes me feel good inside ( im vain like that LOL) .. I say go for it !

We have a tendency to be more critical of ourselves than anyone else is on us. As we look back at ourselves over the years we may be a little more objective. This is something I have learned over 60 years of personal experience. A shame it took me so long to see this, maybe it may take twice that long to rid me of the habit but I say, looking at your chart you have made remarkable progress. Be proud of who you were and to who you've become. Celebrate - don't hide. I saw a banner on a friends Facebook page that said "My greatest regrets are the challenges I never took" My interpretation of that is - go for the gold and let it all hang out. No one is going to criticize you here because we are all in the same boat. If anyone were to criticize anyone on this site they would be nothing less than a hypocrite. I now wish I had some before and now pictures I had taken to post but at the time I had never thought about it. It would be such a great motivational tool to keep me going right now.

When I lose the weight, I am going to post that pic on here. NOT NUDE! hee! Hee! ... but hey ... if you can do that ... you are very brave. :o) See if you can put the two together ... Before on one side and after on the other. Be proud. We are all proud of you.

thank you jim! I sure did let it all hang out LOL.... that was my first step is finally saying "no... you don't look good for 252.5 pounds..... you look unhealthy and can't move..." I made myself stare at that first picture for a full 20 mins to really get it in my head..... you know how most people look in the mirror and say "good god I look horrible" even if they are like model quality? ? ..... lol I was more like "hot damn I look good" .... never thought I should really bother to lose weight... but then when I felt like I was gonna die on a bike ride... I really forced myself to look objectively.. and it wasn't an image I liked. so!!!!! making the changes!!!
