ok stress reduced!!! mother in law left today. .. Gotta get the kids back off sugar and into routine... and father in law said today that he will be here to visit in a few weeks (its ok cause he follows rules and i like him). ... now here is the best news... HE'S BRINGING MY CAR BACK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed my Monte Carlo so much! I gave it to him when we moved so he could make it to drs appointments plus my husband said he'd get me a van so I could cart the kids around... well it's been a year, no van... so father in law said he doesn't use it much cause he was always on his motorcycle instead. so I get my car!!!!!!! I can leave the house again without having to ask! this is the best news! ... so I guess this isn't the most weight loss oriented post I've ever had but whatever... happy people lose weight faster right???? well I'm feeling pretty happy!!! eeeeekkkk my car!! this pic isn't my car but that's what it looks like.

Maybe it is your car. Maybe he had it repainted in appreciation?

Awesome! It must be so hard without a car all this time, especially I assume you don't live in an area of metros & buses!! When you are happy it's so contagious around here! Btw, your father in law sounds like a really cool guy! It might take work to get the kids back on board, or no? Will they resist the healthy change?

Suzy I don't think I've seen you but I know you have a beautiful soul ! .....warren I am so excited to get it back! I loved that car so much... thank you glen :D ... northern he did a lot of repairs on it that I couldn't afford at the time so that's even better than a paint job... I remember when I first got it, I'd wash and wax it every weekend and detail the inside. always had the black ice tree air freshener. had a green mushroom from mario incase I got in an accident (free life LOL... I'm a little superstitious) ...omg smarty I've never been without transportation till a year ago... I've felt so trapped!! I hate that feeling... and no I'm in the suburbs so I can't get anywhere unless I ask my husband for the truck. I also hate asking anyone for permission to do anything (rebel at heart) ... man I'm so pumped!!! .... my father in law is awesome, always checking in with me to make sure I'm ok. .... getting the kids in line is hard.. well ok, getting g the middle one in line is hard... the older one knows it's for the best.

hbc, this is even more awesome cause I can avoid getting the "mom van" for a whole longe... sure a two door is annoying with a car seat, but I look good in that car LOL

Lol... Mom van... Super funny! No insults here, I drive an SUV! (Had a mini van when the twins were born, sold it as soon as their car seats were no longer "infant ") But... I must admit, I reminisce about the interior size of a mini van, that part was über nice!

Well I guess in ways a van would be nice. but i have a pick up truck too so if I gotta move big stuff I can... and the drivers seat in the monte is spacious. .. kids shoukd just be lucky I'm driving them around ha ha ha ha ... I was able to get the carseat in and out before with no issue... so I can do it again. ps... happy with you're use of the word uber

I think it's awesome you studied social services, I think it's awesome that you spoke your mind in BC's mega post, and even greater those before & after pics! YOU ROCK! By the way, has your back improved after MIL left?

my back is a bit better so ya I think it was stress making it worse... still hurts a lot but I guess that's my new normal. or old normal lol. ya I wanted to be a counselor and do case work. I ended up working with the mentally and physically disabled for 7 years before I moved to the U.S. ... if I did that job here I wouldn't make nearly what I did back home..... I just don't like it when people fight. ... Phil has had great success and my dr said this diet is fine for under a year .. obesity is worse than eating some fat.... but i also agree with oliver that eating whole foods and eating clean is good for the long term. *shrug* ... keto it helping me in short term... clean eating should help me in the long term... how that went on and on for pages? I'll never know.... and I don't care to. how are you liking LCHF?? first bit you lose a lot real fat

I'm impressed Hunter! So much weight loss so rapidly, your stats don't lie! I worked with the mentally disabled too! That was about 3 years, but you're right it doesn't pay that much here in the U.S. But it was extremely satisfying and fun, I have fond memories. So far LCHF is been great, I'm not getting hungry and I find it much easier to wake up in the morning or even walking (I don't get tired too easily as I was last week when I was just cutting calories). For me, breaking 220lbs was something I was having a really tough time doing. Yesterday when I broke that weight plateau, I felt something was different this time because I did it and I wasn't constantly obsessing over foods. =================================== (that's taken from Oliver.. haha) I hope I can hang in the long term, but this time around, I think keeping in check with you guys on FS is doing miracles to me. All these years I thought I was doing it alone, and it was painful. This time I feel I'm in a secret club and all the members are fighting the same Fight! It really feels different with so much support. There's so many different personalities but everyone has the ultimate goal, it is something I never experienced before. I'm liking LCHF, I'm liking belonging to FS! Are you from Germany? You liked the use of the word Uber, so it's a guess!!

What a pretty car and YOU are so sweet to let your FIL drive it for one year! You are one special lady. Your FIL is a special guy, too, looking after you.
