Same here... I'm glad I'm not the only one whose commitment to a healthy diet is measure by my patience and determination with those plastic bags. Only the fully committed ones buy produce.

Especially hard while wearing a mask!! Ever wonder how many people have touched the produce you are about to buy?? Just saying...washing is a must!

I’m laughing but it is so true. I finally bought a package of those finger cots to make the job a little easier 

For reals though!!! I have to touch some wet produce to get those darn things open!!

I made an investment in reusable mesh produce bags: cuts down on plastic, easy to open, and just toss in the laundry basket.

Trick to stubborn bags. Wet fingers with condensation on wet produce or frozen items. 

Learned the trick from a helpful cashier when I was frustrated after a long day, then food shopping. 

The struggle sometimes gets embarrassing! I like Bellarose's idea - a friend used to lick her fingers to wet them and open the bags but germs are always risky with that method, an especially bad idea these days.
