Omg, that dog’s head was huge! Weren’t you scared? Good job! I hope I can join a 5k someday. Can you just walk? lol

LambiPi yes particularly with fundraiser 5ks you can usually choose to walk. The proceeds from this one goes to one of two organizations: a canine group that trains dogs for veterans or a group called healing reigns that takes veterans to one of two farms for horse therapy. It’s a very dog friendly event. I mostly go to see how many dogs I can kiss. I did jog the time, 11 minute mile. I wasn’t in there to run a time. I have placed before in my past LOL. At 50 soon to be 51 weight training and Yoga are my focus. Although I do still love to get out there for a little cardio at a moderate pace. I actually prefer the trails to the road. 🏃‍♀️
